Vibration Dose Value (VDV)

In whole body vibration and hand vibration, Vibration Dose Value (VDV) calculation provides a measure on severity of the exposure to the vibration with consideration on the effect of vibration magnitude.

The estimated VDV can be determined using fourth power vibration dose method;

k = crest factor

In the case with several vibration magnitudes, the overall VDV can be determined using ;
